1.A connecting website link of an O-ring Chain for common application is pre-coated with grease at the pins. Ahead of connection, confirm the grease to the surfaces of pins, and in the event the level of grease is small, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are utilised, the grease might be absorbed from the gloves.)
Example: Once the connecting hyperlink (I) of an O-ring chain for standard application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted in the roots of the pins. If the O-rings come loose because of vibration for the duration of transport, refit the O-rings in to your roots from the pins.
In this case, make sure to return the grease collected on the roots on the pins to the central surfaces from the pins, extra at portion A than at portions B shown within the above illustration. (Portions A is worn due to sliding together with the bushings.)
2.The chain can be most easily connected about the teeth of the sprocket. Engage the back links at each ends with the chain with all the sprocket teeth and match connecting pins. If the sprocket can be moved, the chain may also be connected to the loosened side.
three. Connecting procedure
one.Verify that O-rings are attached to your roots of your pins.
2.When the volume of grease applied about the connecting pins is modest, coat the pins with grease at the central portions.
3.Insert the connecting pins in to the bushings of the inner hyperlinks at both ends.
four.Verify that the grease is utilized to the total face of the O-ring, and fit the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
5.Insert the connecting pins in to the connecting plate and although pressing the connecting plate, install the spring clip. Verify irrespective of whether the head (the end without a split) in the spring clip is turned while in the feeding direction of your chain. (See the following illustration.)
six.Be sure to confirm the spring clip is securely fitted from the clip grooves on the connecting pins.
This completes jointing from the connecting link. Note that grease on the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings can be removed all through installation function. In this case, re-grease using the grease over the surface from the base chain or the grease in the polyethylene bag through which the connecting hyperlink was contained.
