Form 304 Stainless
All elements are made from AISI Form 304 (18-8) austenitic stainless steel. This material off ers excellent chemical and temperature resistance in a wide variety of diverse applications. Due to the fact Sort 304 stainless steel can’t be heat handled the mechanical power and wear efficiency is inferior to regular carbon steel chains.
Sort 316 Stainless
All elements are created from AISI Sort 316 Molybdenum-bearing stainless steel. The molybdenum provides the alloy better general corrosion resistance in contrast with Form 304 stainless steel specifically higher resistance to pitting and tension corrosion cracking within the presence of chlorides. Mechanical strength and put on effectiveness are very similar to Type 304 stainless steel chain.
600 Series Stainless
Pins, bushings and rollers are produced from 17-4PH stainless steels which could be age hardened for enhanced resistance to wear elongation. The corrosion resistance of this series is comparable (although slightly inferior) to Variety 304 stainless steel. The working temperature variety of this material however is also not as broad as Type 304 stainless steel.
Mega Chain:
All parts are produced from AISI Sort 304 (18-8) austenitic stainless steel. Available in two versions (Mega Chain and Mega Chain II) which use diff erent physical confi gurations to acquire supplemental strength that is certainly related to that of carbon steel chains. The operating loads of those chains are superior to that of regular 304 stainless steel chains resulting from a greater pin/bushing bearing places. In addition both versions possess a distinctive labyrinth variety seal style that aids avoid the penetration of abrasive foreign resources on the inner sporting components.
